The NextGEN Assembly of Leaders
APRIL 24, 2023
The NextGEN Assembly of Leaders will take place at Parliament in partnership with the Senate of Canada.
Politicians from the federal, provincial and municipal governments will work with small groups of student leaders.
Each politician will present a dossier that they are currently working on with notes and committee meeting notes to identify the problem and dialogue before the governments.
By the end of the day, student leaders will present their ideas and possible solution back to their politicians.
This is a live, in-person and virtual event that will take place in Ottawa, Laval, Montreal, Quebec City... and more.
Students must have an interest in helping people, a desire to lead and a thirst to make a difference at the highest levels…
2023
The NextGEN Assembly of Leaders
On 28 April 2028 secondary school student leaders from the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board and the English Montreal School Board will be gathering at The Next GEN Assembly of Leaders.
Members of the Canadian and Quebec governments will be sharing issues before the government with the student leaders and asking them to research and present a solution by the end of the day.
Keynote Address: Ms. Nina Segalowitz is an Elder and leader within the Montréal Indigenous community.
Student Leaders will be working in person at John F. Kennedy High School. Guests will be interacting with the students via our online network.
