The 2024 MONTREAL IWD Breakfast will be held on Thursday 29th February 2024. The theme for IWD 2024 is Count her in : Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.
The Montreal International Women's Day (IWD) breakfast will Kickoff International Women’s Month. This is the first event to celebrate women of all ages.
The 2024 MIWD Breakfast student leadership co-host team are students in the SWLSB Secondary Student Leadership Certificate Program.
WHAT
President and Co founder of Pink in the City, Denise Vourtzoumis is hosting this event in collaboration with Daniel Johnson, Spiritual Care and Guidance, Community Involvement Animator for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board
Funds raised from this event will be donated in support of the wellness program for the Breast Clinic of the MUHC foundation.

WHY
2024 MIWD breakfast aims to honour the accomplishments and contributions of women of all ages.
Inspiring student leadership begins with forums like this to explore their passions and provide them with opportunities to lead. These opportunities can propel students to succeed within their school and work communities in addition to cultivating meaningful relationships and connections through networking experiences and most importantly take away lessons from the remarkable women we are inspired by in our community. Looking forward to kickoff International Woman’s Month to celebrate all girls and women.
WHO
Keynote Speaker will be The Honorable Ekaterina Tsimberis, Justice of the Federal Court of Canada.
A panel discussion will take place with women leaders that will provide the opportunity for them to share their triumphs, challenges and successes. This event will provide a unique venue for thought-provoking discussions and networking opportunities.

Guests are invited to purchase individual tickets or table. Each table will seat 10 guests and include a Woman of Honour and a Leadership Student of Honour.

Continental breakfast.
A magazine booklet to include all Women of Honour biographies and stories to be given to each attending guest.
