SENATOR TONY LOFFREDA - INDEPENDANT, QUÉBEC

THE NextGEN ASSEMBLY OF LEADERS

A national experiential learning forum where student leaders connect with Canadian leadership to learn about and solve issues at international, national, and local levels...in 5 hours.

The NextGEN Assembly of Leaders is a hybrid event that will take place virtually and in-person at Parliament, in partnership with Senator Tony Loffreda, the Senate of Canada, and schools across Canada. The NextGEN Assembly invites all politicians from all political parties in Canada.

A local politician will meet with your student leadership team to exchange ideas about issues before the government. (Internationally, Canada, Territory or Provincial Governments)

Hybrid Locations

High School Student Leaders will have the opportunity to participate in the Senate of Canada in Ottawa, or online at their schools in different Provinces or Territories.
Québec Elementary Student Leaders will have the opportunity to participate at the SWLSB Head Office with political leaders in Rosemère.

L'Assemblée des leaders NextGEN est un événement hybride qui se déroulera virtuellement dans les écoles et en personne au Parlement, en partenariat avec le sénateur Tony Loffreda, du Sénat du Canada et les écoles du pays. L'Assemblée NextGEN invite tous les politiciens de tous les partis politiques du Canada.

Un politicien local rencontrera votre équipe d'encadrement des élèves pour échanger des idées sur les questions dont le gouvernement est saisi. (International, Canada, gouvernements territoriaux ou provinciaux)

Lieux hybrides

Les élèves leaders du secondaire auront la possibilité de participer au Sénat du Canada à Ottawa, ou en ligne dans leurs écoles dans différentes provinces ou territoires.
Les leaders étudiants du primaire au Québec auront l'occasion de participer au siège social de la SWLSB avec des leaders politiques

We are committed to reconciliation and ensuring that the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools is never forgotten in order to build a better Canada for all of us.

Your MISSION, if you choose to accept it....

1. Politicians from the federal, provincial or municipal governments will work with small groups of student leaders.

2. MORNING MEETING WITH YOUR POLITICIAN: Each politician will present a dossier that they are currently working on, with notes and committee meeting minutes, to students who will work together to offer solutions to the problem before the current governments.

3. AFTERNOON MEETING WITH YOUR POLITICAN: By the end of the day student leaders will present their ideas and possible solutions to their politicians.

Schools can also select to be part of combined group of students from a different province to work on an issue before the government.

The NextGEN Assembly will be live from the Senate of Canada in Ottawa, hosted by Senator Tony Loffreda.

This is a live, in-person and virtual event in the CST time zone.

Students must have an interest in helping people, a desire to lead and a thirst to make a difference at the highest levels.

Votre MISSION, si vous choisissez de l'accepter....

1. Des politiciens des gouvernements fédéral, provincial ou municipal travailleront avec de petits groupes de leaders étudiants.

2. RENCONTRE DU MATIN AVEC VOTRE POLITICIEN : Chaque politicien présentera un dossier sur lequel il travaille actuellement, avec des notes et des comptes rendus de réunions de commissions, aux étudiants qui travailleront ensemble pour proposer des solutions au problème auquel sont confrontés les gouvernements actuels.

3. RENCONTRE AVEC VOTRE POLITICIEN L'APRÈS-MIDI : À la fin de la journée, les élèves leaders présenteront leurs idées et les solutions possibles à leurs politiciens.

Les écoles peuvent également choisir de faire partie d'un groupe combiné d'élèves d'une autre province pour travailler sur une question soumise au gouvernement.

L'assemblée NextGEN se déroulera en direct du Sénat du Canada à Ottawa, sous la présidence du sénateur Tony Loffreda.

Il s'agit d'un événement en direct, en personne et virtuel, dans le fuseau horaire EST.

Les étudiants doivent avoir envie d'aider les gens, de diriger et de faire la différence au plus haut niveau.
