Grade 6 students can be a part of our leadership development program from any SWLSB Elementary School.
Students will participate in our Secondary Student Leadership meetings online on Wednesday evenings.
Student leaders will work on a team with mentors.
Student leaders will begin to work on leadership initiatives that are a part of the SWLSB Secondary Student Leadership Certificate program in preparation for high school.
There is no cost to participate. Learning Experiences (field trips) may have fees related to transportation.
Registration: Spring
Wednesday evening team training sessions on ZOOM: Wednesdays 19:00-20:00
Student Leaders will have opportunities to participate in the following Learning Experiences:
May 14 - Leadership 101
May 21 - Skills to lead
May 28 - Leadership in 2025 / 26 and Escape from Hogwarts
