RAFFLE & BRUNCH FUNDRAISER
Students and mentors who are active participants of the SWLSB Secondary Student Leadership Certificate Program are selling RAFFLE and BRUNCH tickets as a fundraiser. The money raised will assist to offset costs associated with students’ once-in-a lifetime Adventurous Journeys leadership training opportunities.
The brunch will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 251: 2000 Curé-Labelle, Laval, H7T 1L3 between 10AM and 3PM on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
Tickets are $20 each and include the possibility of winning great prizes!
Prizes:
- 3-person helicopter tour of Montreal care of Helico Pro
- 2 Tickets and parking for a Laval Rockets game on Jan. 15, 2025
- 2 Cineplex VIP Cinemas tickets
- KOBO eReader
- Fitbit watch
- 2 Gift certificates: $75 for Restaurant Le Pirate de Laval
Physical presence is not required at the brunch to win prizes!
Raffle tickets will be drawn on November 2, 2024 and winners will be contacted using information provided on ticket stubs.

Students will be working with Disney Cast Members in Disney Parks to develop essential leadership, and inter-personal skills and competencies related to language and CCQ courses.
Key Learning Objectives
After completing 4 LEADERSHIP workshops in WDW theme parks, students will be able to:
Know their own leadership style and continue to develop their personal leadership skills
Describe and analyze the relationship between team excellence, customer satisfaction and business results
Engage with various partners to problem-solve through collaboration
Discuss the importance of diversity when assembling a team
Understand the value of a positive attitude when faced with any challenge in their personal development
Discover the Disney 5 Keys of Excellence and how these impact a large organization’s ability to quickly solve problems
Students will enhance their understanding of community and culture, communication skills, creative and complex thinking as they work in collaboration with a diverse team.
